Crown Casino Crown Rewards Points Explained
Crown Rewards Points: Earning, Balance and Redemptions
Crown Rewards Points recognise eligible activity across our participating casino facilities, hotels, restaurants, bars, shops, entertainment venues and event spaces. Members earn Points by presenting or correctly registering their Crown Rewards Card when paying, staying or playing. Available earn rates depend on the activity, destination and participating facility.
How Crown Rewards Points Are Earned
- • Eligible casino play, including participating table games and gaming machines.
- • Accommodation at participating Crown hotels.
- • Dining at participating restaurants, bars and food venues.
- • Purchases from selected retail outlets.
- • Eligible events and conference bookings.
- • Selected promotional activities available to Crown Rewards members.
Members must present their Crown Rewards Card at the time of an eligible transaction. When playing an electronic gaming machine or automated table game, the card must be inserted or registered correctly. Points for table-game activity may be calculated using factors such as the estimated average wager and duration of play, rather than the amount won or lost.
Crown Rewards Point Categories
| Point Category | Eligible Activity | Status Credit Conversion |
|---|---|---|
| Casino Points | Eligible table games, gaming machines and automated games | 500 Casino Points may equal 1 Status Credit |
| Hotel Points | Eligible accommodation spending at participating Crown hotels | 1,000 Hotel Points may equal 1 Status Credit |
| Lifestyle Points | Eligible dining, bars, retail, events and conferences | 1,500 eligible Points may equal 1 Status Credit |
Point categories and conversion rates can vary by Crown destination and participating activity. The applicable Crown Rewards conditions and the information displayed in a member’s account determine the current earn rate.
Where to Check a Crown Rewards Balance
Members can check their Crown Rewards Points balance by signing in to the Member Hub or using the Crown app. Account information may include the available Points balance, membership tier, Tier Credits, personalised offers and selected benefits. Assistance is also available from a Crown Rewards or reception desk at the relevant property.
We recommend checking the balance regularly. A possible omission or discrepancy should generally be reported at a Crown Rewards or reception desk within 60 days of earning or redeeming the relevant Points, and supporting information may be requested.
How Crown Rewards Points Can Be Used
- • Payment towards eligible Crown hotel stays.
- • Dining and drinks at participating venues.
- • Eligible purchases from participating retail outlets.
- • Selected entertainment and Crown experiences.
- • Eligible events and conference payments.
- • Exchange for participating table play.
- • Crown gift cards and experiences through the Member Hub.
Members generally redeem Points by presenting their Crown Rewards Card when paying at a participating facility. The required Points are deducted from the available account balance. Redemption options differ between destinations, and Points earned at Crown Sydney may be subject to destination-specific restrictions.
Crown Rewards Points and Status Credits
| Feature | Crown Rewards Points | Status Credits |
|---|---|---|
| Main Purpose | Used towards eligible Crown experiences and payments | Determine progress through Crown Rewards tiers |
| How They Accumulate | Earned through eligible spending, stays and casino play | Awarded after meeting applicable Point or activity requirements |
| Redemption | May be redeemed at participating facilities | Cannot be redeemed as payment or exchanged for cash |
| Membership Effect | Redeeming Points does not directly reduce tier status | Used to qualify for and maintain membership tiers |
Crown Rewards Points function as the redeemable part of our program, while Status Credits measure tier progress. Status Credits accumulate during the 12-month membership cycle and are considered during the annual tier review on 1 October. Redeeming Points does not directly remove the Status Credits already recorded for that membership cycle.
Crown Rewards Points Expiry
Points do not expire while a member remains active. If a member does not earn or redeem any Points for 12 consecutive months, the entire balance expires at midnight AEDT at the end of the twelfth month. Expired Points cannot be restored, so account activity and the displayed balance should be reviewed regularly.
Why Crown Rewards Points May Not Be Awarded
- • The Crown Rewards Card was not presented or registered during the transaction.
- • The card was not inserted correctly during eligible casino play.
- • The venue, product or transaction was not participating in Crown Rewards.
- • The purchase was excluded under the applicable program conditions.
- • A deposit was paid, but full payment had not yet been received.
- • Another person used the member’s card or account.
- • A promotional cap or earning restriction applied.
- • A technical or processing issue affected the transaction.
- • The member did not meet a destination-specific casino requirement.
Points can only be earned from a member’s own eligible activity. Our card must not be shared, and Points or privileges obtained through another person’s spending or play may be removed. Crown Sydney casino activity requires the relevant casino membership, while casino Point earning at Crown Melbourne is subject to the applicable casino scheme.
Crown Rewards Points Restrictions
Points and membership privileges are generally personal, non-transferable and available only to the member named on the Crown Rewards Card. Participating facilities, eligible activities, promotional caps and redemption requirements may change. Some privileges cannot be combined with another discount or promotion unless the specific offer conditions permit it.
Points do not represent guaranteed casino winnings and cannot influence a game’s outcome. Casino results remain determined by the rules and chance associated with each game, while Crown Rewards Points recognise eligible participation under our program conditions.
